Risk Disclosure
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Trading cryptocurrencies involves substantial risk, including the possible loss of principal. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.
Market & Liquidity Risk
Crypto assets can be extremely volatile. Slippage and gaps may occur. There is no guarantee of liquidity at desired prices.
Exchange & Counterparty Risk
Exchanges and payment processors may experience outages, API changes, liquidity issues, delistings, or insolvency events. These are outside our control.
API & Key Management
Use trade-only API keys where possible. Safeguard your keys and device. You bear all risks arising from misconfiguration or key exposure.
Technology & Operational Risk
Connectivity issues, hardware failures, software bugs, and third-party dependencies can impact performance. Set appropriate caps, limits, and fail-safes.
Regulatory & Tax Risk
Laws and regulations may change and vary by jurisdiction. You are responsible for compliance and tax reporting.
Backtesting & Simulation Limits
Backtests and Monte-Carlo simulations are hypothetical, may use assumptions, and do not represent actual trading conditions or future results.
Customer-Authorized Automated Execution
When automatic mode is enabled, the software may place, modify or close Binance Futures orders without seeking confirmation for each trade, within the strategy and risk settings selected and authorized by the customer. Automated orders can execute rapidly, including during volatility or connectivity problems. The customer remains responsible for monitoring positions and exchange account risks.
Optional High-Water Mark Fee
A separately agreed optional fee may be calculated on eligible net results of KPV-executed trades using a High-Water Mark methodology. Such fees do not guarantee profitability and can affect the customer's net economic outcome. The applicable separate agreement governs the calculation and payment terms.
No Investment Advice
KPV Crypto is software only and does not provide investment, legal, or tax advice. Consider consulting independent advisors.
